Based in our Sherman, Texas location, as an ES&H Specialist you will play a key role in driving safety excellence across our operations-protecting our people, environment, and facilities while supporting continuous improvement and compliance. This role is part of our alterative shift team working Friday - Sunday, 6AM to 6PM.

  • Leading incident investigations, performing root-cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Actively contributing to safety teams and lead initiatives that strengthen our safety culture.
  • Conducting ergonomic risk assessments, job safety analyses, non-routine task assessments, ES&H training programs, and implementing improvements to reduce risk.
  • Developing and recommending safety initiatives and compliance programs based on risk assessments and performance trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Emerson Corporate ES&H standards.
  • Managing monthly safety and health inspections, audits, and corrective action tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and relevant state/federal regulations.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Hygiene practices and sampling protocols.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and associated safety and health risks.
  • Proficiency in root-cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis).
  • Project management experience and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • ASP or CSP certification.
