About The Position

The Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Microsoft plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within datacenters. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

  • Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field with 8+ years of Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for the implementation of EHS programs for specific Microsoft Datacenters within the region.
  • Accountable for EHS performance metrics and implementation of annual improvement plans.
  • Periodically inspect, audit, and review safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct and deliver regulatory training programs to meet EHS requirements.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values.
