About The Position

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager at The Judge Group Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for driving EHS excellence at the site level in Falconer, North Dakota. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager or Director and is focused on implementing and overseeing EHS and Risk Management (RM) programs, practices, and security strategies to achieve performance excellence. The EHS Manager will provide strategic direction and oversight aligned with corporate EHS and Risk Management policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal standards. The goal is to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, leading to continual improvement and an incident-free work environment. In this role, the EHS Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary groups to ensure compliance with EHS programs and will assist in addressing safety-related regulatory compliance issues. This includes updating and implementing company and divisional safety policies and standards. The EHS Manager will also support the analysis, preparation, and maintenance of mandatory safety and environmental reports through the EHS and RM Data Management System. Leading cross-functional teams, the EHS Manager will address site-specific EHS and security issues, formulate proposals for strategic and tactical responses, and advise site leadership on impacts and mitigation strategies. A critical aspect of this role is the implementation of an incident investigation methodology that aligns with corporate EHS and Risk Management standards. The EHS Manager will ensure that incidents are thoroughly investigated, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented. Additionally, the EHS Manager will support the Site Leadership Team, supervisors, and employees in driving towards zero environmental and employee health and safety incidents by analyzing incident data to identify trends and preventable incident types. The EHS Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that site regulatory and internal reporting is submitted accurately and on time, monitoring site metrics, and implementing programs to address undesirable trends.
