About The Position

The HEICO Construction Group is offering a 12-week summer internship opportunity in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) across various national locations. This internship is designed for aspiring EHS professionals to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the field of safety. Interns will work alongside experienced safety experts, develop practical skills, and contribute to real-world safety initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program such as Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or Construction Management.
• Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated interest in environmental health, safety, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of safety practices and principles through guided training and field experience.
• Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and procedures across various work environments.
• Participate in identifying and mitigating safety risks through inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Engage in professional development activities to build a strong foundation for a career in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
