About The Position

As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) intern you will join our Blairsville Specialty Metals Plant EHS team to assist and participate in multiple safety programs and projects. You will report to the EHS Manager and be located at our Blairsville, PA location. This is a paid full time onsite position for the summer.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in an Occupational Safety Degree Program or Environmental Field
• Complete Sophomore year of college
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities

• Emergency Brigade interactions and pre-plan development
• Involvement in confined space entry procedures, respiratory protection program elements, and hazard communication updates
• Training development and deployment
• Behavior-based Safety Observations and employee communications
• Environmental inspections and evaluations
