Our Summer Internship Program offers real-world exposure to Environmental, Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment while contributing to meaningful projects from day one. Over 10 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience in EHS program development and compliance, mentorship and guidance from experienced industry leaders, a professional network across functions and facilities, and career-ready technical and professional skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Knowledge of safety principles, environmental regulations, or compliance programs preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work on-site at one of our locations for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Support compliance activities related to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Help develop and update training materials, safety procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Analyze EHS data and recommend improvements to reduce incidents and ensure compliance.
  • Complete a capstone intern project and present results to leadership.
