About The Position

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator will serve as a health and food safety support specialist for concessions and culinary teams at T-Mobile Park. Operations include culinary kitchens, catering, premium services, sub-contracted food service providers, and concessions food and beverage operations. Reporting to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, selected individuals will help coordinate operational compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards to foster a strong safety culture. initiatives, in-house food safety inspections, diligent record-keeping, monitoring of existing HACCP program , and other duties as assigned by the EHS manager.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in one of the following: Public Health, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Hospitality, Occupational Safety & Health/Industrial Hygiene, or a related degree or an Associate's Degree plus at least one years' experience in retail food service and beverage operations.
  • Skills in administration, recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance using electronic software (Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Ability to coach and hands-on completion of tasks needed for compliance.
  • Washington Food Worker Card before starting work.
  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
  • Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • All associates must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with and/or knowledge of HACCP or a food safety management system is preferred.
  • Certified Food Protection Manager ( ServSafe ) is preferred and within 30 days of hire.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred and within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work extended or irregular hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Training and monitoring of employees on internal food safety management and safety programs.
  • Verifying compliance by performing in-house food safety inspections and safety audits.
  • Working with the EHS manager and supervisor on root-cause analysis and special projects
  • Advising and working with management on the completion of assigned corrective actions.
  • Supporting management during regulatory inspections
  • Supporting all game day operational needs related to environmental health.
  • Other duties as assigned by the EHS manager.
