About The Position

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant at KPA plays a vital role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance for clients. This position involves developing strong relationships with clients, conducting onsite audits, providing employee training, and interacting with regulatory bodies. The consultant aims to minimize risks and enhance profitability for clients while promoting a culture of safety and compliance within their organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Studies, or related disciplines preferred.
• Three years of Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Public speaking skills for forums of up to 300 audience members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with district clients and potential clients.
• Conduct onsite field audits and employee training sessions.
• Assist in preparing various compliance documentation such as Hazard Communication and OSHA logs.
• Organize a quarterly visit schedule to maximize travel efficiency.
• Implement and monitor accident prevention programs and policies.
• Promote productive relationships with dealer group management and state dealer associations.
• Document and submit referrals or sales leads to the area Account Executive.
