About The Position

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company. We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms. Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Intern. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of EHS practices within our organization and is designed for students who are interested in gaining practical experience in the field.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years at an accredited university and currently enrolled
  • Must attend entirety of internship from the indicated start and end date noted above

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of EHS policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
  • Participate in the identification and evaluation of workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
  • Support incident investigations, including collecting and analyzing data, and identifying root causes to prevent future occurrences
  • Assist in development and delivery of EHS training programs for employees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and ensure EHS requirements are integrated into daily operations
  • Assist in the compilation and analysis of EHS data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management
  • Stay up to date with current EHS regulations, permits, and records in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of a strong safety culture by organizing safety campaigns, events, and awareness programs
  • Other duties as assigned
