The Wells EHS Director of Field Services is responsible for providing safety and health direction and oversight, ensuring the organizations adherence to local, state, and federal occupational health and safety, environmental, and DOT regulations with specific focus on construction safety for the erection of precast concrete. The role involves the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies tailored to commercial construction and precast erection environments. The EHS Director of Field Services keeps abreast of relevant regulatory changes (including OSHA standards for cranes, rigging, fall protection, and concrete construction), implements behavior-based safety practices, conducts safety audits on active construction sites, attends pre-construction activities, investigates incidents, and provides training to employees at all levels. The EHS Director of Field Services plays a vital role at Wells by championing a culture of safety, safeguarding both the workforce and the environment. The position reports to the VP of EHS.
