About The Position

The Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Manager at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of ESH practices within the manufacturing and aerospace operations. This role involves leading ESH initiatives, compliance monitoring, and fostering a safe working environment through training, audits, and incident investigations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of ESH experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Extensive knowledge of ESH management systems and regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• MS in related field
• Prior ESH experience at an aerospace or similar company
• Applicable Professional certification(s) (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide ESH support to Sikorsky Operations, facilitating the implementation of ESH procedures and management systems.
• Train line management and conduct ESH audits to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate site assessments and ergonomic analyses to maintain a safe working environment.
• Gather and report ESH data to support business metrics.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local ESH regulations.
• Track and manage corrective and preventive actions from audits and inspections.
• Participate in ESH incident investigations and root cause analysis.
