Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Available for night and weekend work.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Willingness to conduct asbestos/lead/mold monitoring, surveys, and industrial hygiene projects.
  • Asbestos, Lead, and/or 40-hr HAZWOPER certification required; MA Asbestos Project Monitor License or ability to obtain one required.
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work in fast-paced environments, varied conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel up to 90% regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hazardous materials surveys and collect environmental samples.
  • Oversee soil borings and monitoring well installations.
  • Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and building materials abatement.
  • Prepare field notes, photograph, and analyze field and analytical data.
  • Prepare technical reports and conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II site assessments.
  • Support emergency response services, implement health and safety policies, manage workloads, and travel 90% within eastern New England.
