Weston is seeking an Environmental Field Coordinator with UAV Drone operations experience to serve as the primary on‑site representative for assigned properties supporting residential remediation activities. This role interfaces directly with homeowners, coordinates daily field activities, and ensures documentation, safety, and quality requirements are met at the site level. The role also requires experience supporting or performing UAV/drone operations for site documentation, monitoring, or data collection as part of project execution.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting environmental remediation or construction field activities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public and property owners.
  • Familiarity with field documentation, safety protocols, and quality procedures.
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and site conditions.
  • Comfort working with technology and field tools, including tablets and data collection platforms.
  • UAV/drone pilot certification (FAA Part 107) or demonstrated experience operating UAVs/drones for site documentation, inspection, or data collection purposes.

  • Prior experience acting in SSHO or QC roles.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners during site activities.
  • Coordinate and document daily field operations at assigned properties.
  • Provide on‑site oversight of subcontractors and field crews.
  • Perform site‑level Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and Quality Control (QC) functions, as assigned.
  • Collect Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) soil samples upon completion of excavation activities and for new sampling locations.
  • Support UAV/drone‑based site documentation activities, including aerial imagery or data collection, as required by the project.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation and records.
  • Support project reporting and communication requirements.
