As a Technical Services Chemist, you will be on the front lines of environmental solutions, providing expert lab packing services to ensure the safe handling, packaging, and disposal of hazardous materials. Join us as a Field Chemist and launch your career in environmental services! In this hands-on role, you'll work directly with hazardous materials in a compliance-focused, safety-first environment. You'll be responsible for identifying, packaging, and labeling hazardous waste for safe transport and disposal. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
  • Previous labpacking experience preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of-or interest in learning-hazardous waste regulations
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Able to pass a physical exam, drug screen, and background check
  • Willing and able to travel and wear a full-face respirator
  • Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Classify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transport and disposal
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal safety policies
  • Complete regulatory paperwork accurately and on time
  • Sample materials and unpack hazardous waste at treatment facilities
  • Input data and research materials using company software
  • Operate a 26-foot box truck once CDL Class B is obtained (CDL training provided)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
