We rely on our team of engineers to make this possible, and we are hiring an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis. Under direction of the site SHE Manager, CMS and P&S Environmental leadership, the Environmental Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the site remains both compliant and conformant to all applicable environmental obligations. The selected individual will also be responsible for identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the site’s environmental management system and remediation site strategies. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: remediation program oversight, solid and hazardous waste management program oversight, future Clean Air Act (CAA) or Clean Water Act (CWA) permitting applicability assessments, SPCC Plan Implementation and upkeep, No exposure storm water certification, ISO 14001 management system implementation, sustainability project execution and data management. You will have a mix of office, shop and remediation site field work in your day to day work activities. As the Environmental Engineer, you will be accountable for permitting, recordkeeping, reporting and ensuring compliance with all environmental regulatory and company requirements. You will also support continuous improvement of the environmental management system, which includes but is not limited to managing remediation treatment activities, solid/hazardous waste management, and periodic engagement with site functional groups outside of the SH&E organization in order to address various cross-functional site-level environmental initiatives.
