The Environmental Engineer Specialist in the Groundwater Mining and Industrial Permits Unit, will utilize applied engineering knowledge and skills to conduct reviews of Aquifer Protection Program (APP) permit applications for mines and various industrial facilities. In this role, you will research, plan, and perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines to conduct reviews and write permits in accordance with Arizona’s environmental regulations. This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).
