About The Position
As a Consultant with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will play a crucial role in various environmental projects, delivering client-focused customer service across multiple sectors including manufacturing, energy, mining, and real estate. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of engineering tasks, such as conducting due diligence and environmental site assessments, performing compliance audits, obtaining necessary permits, and executing multi-media site investigations. These investigations will cover soil, sediments, surface water, groundwater, and soil vapor, and will include oversight of drilling operations and logging of borings. Fieldwork will be a significant component of this position, involving environmental monitoring and sampling of soil, groundwater, and stormwater. You will have the opportunity to interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, influencing the project from its initial concept through to the final deliverable. This role may also require travel to various project sites, enhancing your exposure to diverse environmental challenges and solutions.
