About The Position

Clean Earth is looking for experienced, professional drivers to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for packing, transporting, and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires traveling to various locations on your assigned route. The role offers a competitive pay structure, including a $5000 sign-on bonus and overtime opportunities, allowing you to earn in excess of $84,000 per year.

Requirements

• Valid Driver License.
• CDL Class A.
• Tanker Endorsement.
• HazMat Endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Maintains a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).

Nice To Haves

• Some college or waste industry experience.
• Ability to climb on tankers and proper use of Fall Protection.
• TWIC endorsement.
• Strong working knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to drag length of hose.
• VacTruck experience preferred but can be trained.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests/work orders.
• Schedule shipments into or off site.
• Perform various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Report all losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Resolve leaking containers/containers in non-compliance.
• Load and transport waste safely in tankers.
• Ensure safe operation of tank functions.
• Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
