Requirements

• BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Reources, Geology or a degree related to Environmental Science; MS preferred
• 5-10 years of Natural Resources, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience
• Professional Wetland Sciencist (PWS), Professional Geologist (PG) or other relevant licensure is preferred
• The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications": E-6/E7/O-2/O-3

Responsibilities

• This position requires a commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives
• Other responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (must supervise at least 2 full time employees), overseeing environmental services projects and report reviews, preparing proposals for environmental services, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
• The primary duty of this position is supervision of employees and daily management of the department
• This position may involve report preparation and project management duties based on the needs of the department
