About The Position
As an Entry Level Environmental Data Management (EDM) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Environmental Data Management & Analysis (EDMA) teams. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the field of environmental data management. You will be involved in exciting and fast-paced client-centric projects, where your contributions will be essential in delivering complex technical solutions. Your work will primarily focus on applying your understanding of environmental data and your experience with EQuIS software to meet project goals. In this role, you will collaborate with other team members, including data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists, to ensure effective data management practices are followed. You will learn to implement EQuIS data management solutions under the guidance of data management leadership and EQuIS subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will include project data management tasks such as data tracking, data loading, and data delivery. You will also be expected to develop your competency in all phases of data management within the EQuIS framework. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, capable of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining a client service mentality.
