This position assists staff by conducting inspections in the State Revolving Fund Program. The incumbent will be required to work 40-hour work weeks, Monday through Friday, and be present for work between the core hours of 9AM – 3PM on site at your workstation. This advanced position involves engineering work performed within the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program. Under the supervision of the Environmental Manager and Program Administrator, the incumbent of this position will be primarily involved with implementing the State Revolving Fund Loan Programs authorized under Title VI of the Clean Water Act, Section 1452 of the Safe Drinking Water Act, Chapter 403.1835, F.S., Chapter 403.8532 F.S., and the Small Community Wastewater Construction Grants program authorized under Chapter 403.1838 F.S. Engineering knowledge is required to ensure that the proposed facilities are constructed in accordance with good engineering practice. Moderate travel to project site locations is required. This is advanced level work where the employee may perform or be responsible for the completion of a range of assignments independently under very limited supervision. The work requires applying a scientific understanding to analyze problems of a specialized nature in a wide range of applications.
