About The Position

Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Consultant to join their team in Milwaukee, WI, or Chicago, IL. The role involves evaluating contamination and regulatory compliance risks, conducting environmental due diligence assessments, and providing strategic risk management assistance to an international client base. The position requires a blend of office-based work and site visits, with a focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Environmental, Chemical or related Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, or a Bachelor of Science in one of these fields with related consulting experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in conducting environmental due diligence assessments, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and environmental compliance reviews.
• Experience with environmental regulatory compliance related to industrial and commercial facilities.

• Experience in risk management assistance.
• Familiarity with COVID-19 safety procedures during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Completing environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial sites.
• Conducting limited environmental compliance reviews of industrial sites by reviewing and abstracting regulatory requirements for multi-media environmental compliance.
• Reviewing site investigation reports and providing conclusions and opinions related to the extent of contamination.
• Developing scopes of work for site investigation activities.
• Preparing technical reports that effectively communicate site findings.
• Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.
• Traveling to industrial and commercial facilities for site visits, including both local and non-local travel.
• Supporting multiple projects and meeting high quality standards on project deliverables.
