GR2 is accepting applications for an Environmental Construction Projects Manager based out of the Dallas, TX office, located in Farmers Branch, TX.   • Promoting a safe work environment for all employees, contractors, and subcontractors on our clients' sites and at corporate offices.
  • Providing onsite management for client-focused environmental construction, demolition, assessment, repair, and decontamination projects.
  • Provide construction coordination and oversight for projects involving site drilling, digging, hauling, and environmental remediation.
  • Attending client site-walks, evaluating project approach, presenting opportunities to the client, and EnSafe Teams.
  • Developing project-specific scopes of work and proposals based on client-provided information and site walks.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders: project engineers, clients, subcontractors, and owners, to project progress, changes, and potential issues.
  • Follow Construction Quality Management (CQM) Quality Control: Ensuring all construction work meets quality standards, building codes, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the project, personnel, budgetary overruns, and or quality issues.
  • Implement Project Controls - coordinate and manage schedules and budget monitoring of contractors.
  • Generate the required project documentation daily, including Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), equipment inspections, progress reports, and necessary submittal documents for CQM.
  • Assist with obtaining permits, performing site inspections, and following compliance testing standards per the project work plan.
  • Provide Hazardous Waste Shipping Oversight under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • The ability to work with and direct a team, including hands-on cooperative leadership and promoting internal growth by training others.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in the construction industry, with a strong record of managing environmental construction projects.
  • Heavy equipment operation experience, including excavation, grading, and material handling.
  • Demonstrated customer service, communication, and multitasking skills, especially with subcontractor coordination and client interaction.
  • Ability to travel overnight for extended periods, depending on project needs.
  • Landfill construction and closure experience (strongly preferred but not required).
  • Experience with asbestos, lead, and mold abatement, including proper removal and compliant disposal.
  • Trade license or Degree.
  • Industrial aerospace project experience.
  • Mechanical and HVAC experience.
  • Stormwater and infrastructure maintenance experience.
  • Oil and chemical industry project experience.
  • USACE CQM Training.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
  • DOT RCRA Site Manifest Certification.
  • Confined Space, Hazard communications, CPR, first aid, and lockout tagout training.
  • Commercial Driver's License CDL Class A.
