Requirements

Bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering, or other similar degree.
Minimum 10-20 years' experience.
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed
Authorized Project Reviewer status preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and sampling related to environmental permit requirements.
Prepare compliance reports and other submittals for regulatory agencies
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific environmental programs and policies.
Deliver site-specific training to employees, including orientation, hazard communication, PPE, emergency response, and job-specific topics.
Prepare and maintain required environmental documentation, environmental permits, and compliance reports.
Manage and oversee hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with RCRA and local regulations.
Develop and/or maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
