About The Position

The Environmental Compliance Coordinator will support the environmental compliance program by conducting field inspections and managing compliance records. This role is primarily remote but requires travel to various construction and operational project sites across California. The position offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based on performance and fit.

Requirements

• Experience in environmental compliance, particularly in performing field inspections and managing compliance records.
• Strong ability to understand and interpret environmental permit requirements and regulations.
• Familiarity with MS Suite (Excel proficiency required) and other tracking tools such as SharePoint and Google Earth.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable in a hybrid work environment (remote and field-based).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a consulting role, especially within the environmental compliance sector.
• Previous field operations experience and familiarity with environmental compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the environmental compliance program by conducting field inspections and managing compliance records.
• Perform inspections and assessments at construction and operational sites, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and permit requirements.
• Read and interpret permit documents and environmental regulations to ensure compliance is maintained.
• Document findings, track compliance status through various tools, and prepare inspection reports.
• Travel to various project sites 1-2 days per week, with compensation for travel time and mileage.
• Utilize software tools such as Excel, MS Suite, SharePoint, Google Earth, and a field-based inspection tool.
