As an Environmental Chemist / Data Validator, you will provide chemistry and data validation support to multidisciplinary project teams. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline.
5+ years environmental data validation experience including demonstratable experience using USEPA National Functional Guidelines and DoD Validation Modules.
Proficiency with environmental relational database management systems such as EQuIS or similar.
Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulatory requirements.
Proficient computer literacy skills – including the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills – including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a client-first mentality.

Nice To Haves

Experience in environmental consulting and/or analytical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

Perform data review, verification, validation, and usability assessments for environmental projects.
Manage project tasks related to environmental analytical data.
Coordinate with analytical laboratories on sampling events, analytical methods, and data deliverables.
Support field teams in planning and executing sampling activities.
Prepare technical documentation, including data validation reports, Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs).
Collaborate with internal technical teams and project managers.
Manage and maintain project data within systems such as EQuIS, NIRIS, and FUDSChem.
