As an Environmental Chemist / Data Validator, you will provide chemistry and data validation support to multidisciplinary project teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 5+ years environmental data validation experience including demonstratable experience using USEPA National Functional Guidelines and DoD Validation Modules.
  • Proficiency with environmental relational database management systems such as EQuIS or similar.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills – including the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a client-first mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in environmental consulting and/or analytical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data review, verification, validation, and usability assessments for environmental projects.
  • Manage project tasks related to environmental analytical data.
  • Coordinate with analytical laboratories on sampling events, analytical methods, and data deliverables.
  • Support field teams in planning and executing sampling activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including data validation reports, Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs).
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and project managers.
  • Manage and maintain project data within systems such as EQuIS, NIRIS, and FUDSChem.
