About The Position

Responsible for performing all housekeeping functions at the Center. Responsible for identification and communication of maintenance and housekeeping needs, to maintain and to improve the quality of the Center and surroundings. Hours are Monday - Friday 4pm-10pm

Requirements

• Housekeeping and or maintenance experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills in order to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals and personnel.
• Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work efficiently to achieve the Center's goals.
• HIPAA Compliance: Environmental Associate does not require access to PHI or medical records. It is understood that this job position will have incidental exposure to PHI in the course of performing required job functions.
• Requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, lifting and pushing of light to medium weight objects.
• May require the ability to assist with lifting of heavy objects.
• Works in clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated environment with no apparent direct exposure to physical hazards.
• This position requires some exposure to chemicals (cleaning agents).
• This position will work with electrical equipment in the course of performing required job functions.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for the performance of all Housekeeping tasks within the Center and related structures
• Participates in the Center's Quality Improvement Program activities including identification of opportunities for cost reductions and efficiencies.
• Attends all Center meetings and educational opportunities.
