Our Glastonbury, CT office is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Environmental team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Environmental Science or other related major
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with CT-based regulations.
  • Demonstrated technical report writing proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
  • Must be available for infrequent night and weekend work .
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
  • Must be able to travel 40% regionally

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CT Stormwater Regulations a plus.
  • 4 0-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred
  • Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.
  • CAD and GIS experience a plus.
  • S trong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals for environmental projects, including technical scopes of work
  • Project management of CT-based environmental projects , including client communication and invoicing.
  • Prepare technical reports (RAPs / COIs / GMRs)
  • Conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
  • Co llect field samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and drinking water .
  • Provide oversight of site investigation and characterization as well as contaminated site remediation .
  • Support emergency response services
  • Communicate and collaborate with others
  • Manage workloads and records
  • Implement health and safety policies
  • Meet financial-based targets
