Environmental Associate Project Manager

Our Glastonbury, CT office is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Environmental team.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Environmental Science or other related major
- 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with CT-based regulations.
- Demonstrated technical report writing proficiency.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be available for infrequent night and weekend work .
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Must be able to travel 40% regionally
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CT Stormwater Regulations a plus.
- 4 0-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.
- CAD and GIS experience a plus.
- S trong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals for environmental projects, including technical scopes of work
- Project management of CT-based environmental projects , including client communication and invoicing.
- Prepare technical reports (RAPs / COIs / GMRs)
- Conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
- Co llect field samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and drinking water .
- Provide oversight of site investigation and characterization as well as contaminated site remediation .
- Support emergency response services
- Communicate and collaborate with others
- Manage workloads and records
- Implement health and safety policies
- Meet financial-based targets
