The Environmental Assistant’s responsibilities encompass supporting and contributing to a successful Environmental Services Division through execution of compliance, geosciences, and/or natural resource tasks with the direction of a project manager/Operations Manager. Responsibilities include performance of administrative and technical functions to support the division teams and operations including but not limited to assisting with project management functions; report and proposal preparation and QA/QC; general administrative and clerical support to Operations Manager and other managers. Other responsibilities include: Processing project Accounts Payable, tracking project budgets, tracking project allocations and updates. Auditing of project files to comply with QMS requirements, technical subject matter research, drafting of site maps and plans, data interpretation, administrative management of applied technologies, and assist Operations Manager with driving continuous improvement efforts. Provide administrative support to the Direct Report, Business Manager and others as assigned. Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, initiative and discretion in performing duties. Demonstrate a high level of clerical competence, with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to practical problems on a daily basis. Have a high level of skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with all clients; effectively and positively interact with staff at all levels of the organization. Assist with scheduling of activities for Direct Report and maintenance of electronic calendars, schedule appointments, and make travel arrangements as needed. Assist in preparation of reports and/or correspondence and support quality control review and formatting of client proposals and deliverables (review for style, grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.). Understand, adhere and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and Quality Management System Programs and set a good safety and quality example. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.). Minimum three (3) years’ of relevant paraprofessional experience. Proficiency in GIS, CAD or Visio. Good oral and written communications skills and working knowledge of database administration. Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.) and 10 key calculator. Ability to maintain positive relationships with all clients and to effectively and positively interact with staff at all levels of the organization. Ability to produce reports in an accurate, efficient and timely manner meeting quality standards. Must be self-motivated and have ability to work independently. Good time management skills and ability to balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals.
