About The Position
The Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking a River and Floodplain Manager (Environmental Analyst VI) who will also act as a Compliance & Enforcement Lead for the Flood Hazard Area & River Corridor (FHARC) Program. The successful candidate will support the review of projects in flood hazard or river corridor areas for regulatory compliance, as well as lead the Program's compliance and enforcement efforts. The right candidate will be an individual with education and skill sets in river science or floodplain management and have interest in working to protect rivers and floodplains in Vermont.
