About the position
The Environmental Aide PRN position is responsible for following established procedures to clean, disinfect, and service hospital units, patient rooms, critical care areas, specialty areas, and offices within the hospital and its subsidiaries. The role may require the operation of electrical and battery-powered equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects hospital units and patient rooms.
- Services critical care and specialty areas.
- Maintains cleanliness in hospital offices.
- Operates electrical and battery-powered equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts.
- Basic ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Successful L2 ground screening.
- One (1) year of experience in housekeeping, linen, or environmental services.
