About The Position
Position is responsible for providing support for routine analyses and laboratory operation. This includes, but is not limited to, wet chemistry procedures and analysis, coal and oil analysis, radiochemistry analysis, instrumental analysis, sample preparation, cleaning of glassware, sample receiving support (sample login, disposal, etc.), procedure review and revision. Experience with any of the following analytical methods a plus: ion chromatography, gas chromatography, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ICP-QQQ, Colorimetry, Gravimetric analysis, Calorimetry, XRF, solid phase extraction, gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillation, or alpha/beta gas flow proportional counting. Experience with LIMS software and Environmental Laboratory Accreditation would be a plus.
