About The Position
Beechwood Homes is a five-star nursing facility located in Getzville, NY, dedicated to serving the Western New York senior community for over 50 years. As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure that the facility maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to personnel based on daily work assignments and conducting monthly inspections alongside the department director to uphold the facility's high standards of cleanliness and safety. In addition to supervising staff, you will assist in training new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively. Maintaining payroll and scheduling procedures is also a key responsibility, requiring proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to manage these tasks efficiently. The role is full-time, with a typical schedule from 7 am to 3 pm, although hours may vary, and you will be expected to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
