About The Position

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant PRN to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff. The position involves performing cleaning functions according to established schedules and protocols, assisting with emergency spills, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and a passion for creating positive interactions.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions.
• Fingerprint Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning function in assigned areas and established schedules following the 7-Step cleaning process.
• Assists in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and has repairs made when needed.
• Observes and reports the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift objects no more than 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work any shift hour.
• Must be able (after training) to demonstrate the correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
• Must be able (after training) to demonstrate the 7-Step cleaning process.
