As an Envelope Adjuster, you'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of advanced envelope converting machinery. You'll work closely with machine operators to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety across every shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience setting up and operating W+D 527 or 627 printing/converting equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active, hands-on environment
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to quality, reliability, and workplace safety
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts as needed
  • Must provide basic tools (specialized tools provided)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate W+D 527 and/or W+D 627 envelope printing and converting machines
  • Perform window and size changes independently
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate envelope, window, and flap dimensions
  • Train and guide Envelope Converting Operators to ensure consistent productivity
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Maintain adequate supplies of glue, ink, and window film
  • Complete daily production reports and communicate inventory needs
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness standards to maintain a hazard-free work area
  • Demonstrate or learn the principles of Flexographic printing on belly and central impression units
