About The Position
This is a great full-time job opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Florida's outdoors! Join our environmental consulting firm and: Assist land clearing on large Florida land projects. Perform aquatics management work on ponds, canals and wetlands. Help restore Florida native environments with planting and seeding. This is a physical job in outdoor Florida conditions. Join the team and you’ll traverse some of Florida’s most wild landscapes including marshes, hammocks and remote upland areas. This is a GREAT career opportunity with an established, privately-owned firm and can be a long-term position with room for advancement.
Requirements
- Minimum age 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Clean, valid Florida Driver's License with the ability to pass a 5-year MVR Screening
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Able to pass a law enforcement background check
- Clean drug & alcohol screening
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Willing to work with a tight team in challenging environments
- Lift loads up to 50 pounds
- All new employees must be available for a MVR, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and a baseline Physical (full physical)
- No sponsorships – must be authorized to work in the U.S.
