Requirements

  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Reliable transportation to and from the event site in Camden, SC
  • Availability for the full shift on March 28, 2026 (8am–1pm or 3pm)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for several hours in varying weather conditions
  • Comfort working in fast‑paced, high‑traffic environments
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude
  • Ability to follow directions and enforce event policies professionally
  • Attention to detail, especially when checking tickets, passes, or verifying credentials
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling guest concerns or minor problems

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with customer service, ushering, parking operations, or event staffing
  • Experience working around crowds, traffic flow, or outdoor events
  • Basic familiarity with handheld scanners or mobile check‑in devices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, especially with security and traffic personnel

Responsibilities

  • Scan tickets, verify credentials, and welcome guests with confidence and a smile.
  • Check parking passes and guide vehicles into the appropriate lots like a traffic‑control legend.
  • Keep entry lines organized, moving, and chaos‑free.
  • Process credit card and cash payments quickly and accurately for parking, ticketing, or entry-related fees. Ensure secure handling of money and provide receipts when needed.
  • Answer questions, point guests in the right direction, and help kick off their day on the right foot.
  • Help enforce event entry policies to keep everyone safe and secure.
  • Troubleshoot minor ticketing or parking issues, escalating anything complex to event supervisors.
  • Collaborate with security, traffic personnel, and event staff to keep things running seamlessly.
