Under general supervision and direction of the Miller on shift, the Mill Operator is responsible for the quality milling of semolina, flours, and feed on a consistent basis, manufactured in such a fashion so as to maximize production through the utilization of equipment capacities. The Mill Operator is expected to adhere to company safety and sanitation policies and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in all areas of responsibility. The role involves operating both cleaning houses on shift to ensure proper moisture levels and screening percentages are maintained, and ensuring that semolina produced on the shift meets quality standards.
