About The Position

The Maintenance Technician role at 3D Systems involves maintaining, repairing, and improving 3D printing systems to ensure optimal operational conditions. The technician will work with various types of machinery and collaborate with a team of engineers and maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in facility and machine maintenance is essential.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, including circuit principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical equipment and control systems is required.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of 3D printing and 3D laser printers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on 3D printing systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and manage corresponding work orders (WOs).
• Prioritize machine and equipment status updates to the supervisor and team.
• Track issues, parts, and project status effectively.
• Utilize technical manuals and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) daily.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, maintenance team, and installers for new machine validations.
• Ensure all machines on the manufacturing floor are operational and in good condition.
