Collaborating with our experienced water professionals, you will support and drive the development of projects, interact and work with clients, and develop your technical capabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit.
  • EIT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and design projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities.
  • Support project management activities.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and design solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
  • Perform site visits, water sampling, analyze water quality, evaluate technologies, troubleshoot processes, and optimize plant operations.
  • Support Asset Management projects by utilizing data analytics to perform operational and organizational assessments.
  • Conduct condition assessments and evaluate the overall performance of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
  • Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards.
  • Learn, design, and manage databases, SQL server, and cloud-based computing services.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Learn and use digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery.
