About The Position

The Treatment Process Engineer will work on water and wastewater projects, leading studies, designs, and field assignments. This role involves evaluating treatment approaches, planning, and designing treatment systems, with a focus on wastewater but also including potable water systems. The position offers opportunities for professional growth through collaboration with a team of engineers and technical experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain soon after hire.
• 0-3 years of experience in a water- or wastewater-related field.
• Self-motivation and team-oriented work practices.
• Strong data analysis skills and technical problem-solving ability.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Wastewater process modeling experience (e.g. BioWin, Sumo).
• Hydraulic modeling skills (e.g. Fathom, AutoPIPE).
• Wet chemistry laboratory skills.
• Construction and facility operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead studies, designs, and field assignments for water/wastewater projects.
• Evaluate and select treatment approaches to solve client challenges.
• Plan and design treatment systems and plant improvements.
• Conduct technical studies and computer modeling.
• Write technical reports and provide engineering design support.
• Support construction services related to treatment and resource recovery assignments.
