About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking an Entry Level Wafer Fab Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This position is critical in maintaining the operational integrity of our wafer fabrication processes. As a Wafer Fab Manufacturing Technician, you will be involved in various tasks including monitoring and analyzing data to improve tool performance, coordinating supplier services and repairs, and preparing technical reports with recommendations for solutions to technical problems. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety, as you will be working in a clean room environment where safety is our top priority. The position offers a unique work schedule, with 12-hour shifts that allow for a compressed workweek, providing you with 3-4 days off in a row. You will have the opportunity to earn up to 20% profit sharing on eligible base pay through TI's Profit Sharing plan. Additionally, you will be eligible for competitive health, dental, and vision insurance from day one of hire, along with a significant annual contribution to your health savings account. Paid time off increases with years of service, and you will receive 11 paid holidays annually.
