We are seeking a soon-to-be or recently graduated Chemical or Environmental Engineer to join our team. Your immediate work will focus on solutions for our water and wastewater projects and Clients in both our municipal and industrial markets. You will work on a variety of exciting projects that apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With Jacobs, you'll work on water and wastewater projects to process mechanical and hydraulic design solutions. You should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally within the Mid-Atlantic. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients.   • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
  • An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain one 6 months after hire
  • No more than 1 year of consulting experience for municipal water and wastewater clients
  • Coursework with concentration in civil, environmental and/or construction
  • Conceptual knowledge of process mechanical designs, drinking and wastewater unit processes and technologies
  • Willingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary software tools
  • Ability to build relationships, resolve conflict and participate in diverse teams
  • Experience with hydraulic analyses
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS
  • Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations
  • Prior internship experience in the water industry and inside the fence treatment plant work
