About The Position

The Entry Level Utility Agent position involves various responsibilities related to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the airport operations facility. The role requires compliance with attendance policies, investigation of customer complaints, and thorough cleaning of the facility's interior and exterior. This includes tasks such as dusting, disinfecting, and maintaining outdoor grounds. The agent must also adhere to safety and security protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all aspects of equipment used in the facility.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent educational proficiency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Location's attendance/tardiness policies.
• Investigate customer complaints and concerns regarding the fuel facility and grounds.
• Clean the interior of the facility building including floors, carpets, rugs, restrooms, showers, windows, and walls.
• Dust and disinfect commonly used items like desks, bookcases, and phones.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and equipment, placing orders with the supervisor.
• Maintain outdoor grounds, including cutting grass, edging, trimming bushes, and sweeping roadways.
• Remove debris and snow from the premises.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Prepare areas for cleaning, including scrubbing, scraping, and washing.
• Follow company and departmental safety policies and maintain required records.
• Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, or dangerous occurrences.
