About The Position

Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall is "Now Hiring" an Entry Level Used Car Service Advisor! Serve as the first point of contact for customers bringing in used vehicles for service or maintenance. Act as the liaison between customers and the service department (technicians, parts, service managers). Help customers understand needed repairs or maintenance, estimate costs, and get customer authorization. Coordinate service appointments, repairs, and customer communications. Conferring with customers about inspection results and recommending repairs. Preparing repair orders (labor, parts, cost). Writing a description of customer concern so technicians understand. Explaining work done and charges to the customer. Handling customer complaints and Scheduling service appointments. Test driving with customers as needed to replicate problems. Recommending additional maintenance or repairs. Providing accurate written cost estimates. Obtaining customer sign-off on work orders. Checking on repair progress throughout the day and communicating with customers about changes. Maintaining work area, department forms, and customer satisfaction standards. Ensuring vehicles are parked, locked, and keys stored properly

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Clean driving record.
  • Good communication skills, organization, and customer service orientation.
  • Professional appearance, and ability to work somewhat independently
