About The Position

Sands Chevrolet is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Upfit Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in emergency vehicle upfitting , working alongside experienced technicians and learning the trade from the ground up. We support a wide range of fleet accounts and build everything from commercial amber/white work trucks to full red/blue/white emergency response vehicles . You’ll assist with the installation of emergency lighting, wiring, equipment mounting, and general vehicle upfitting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn a specialized trade. Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of how vehicles are built and operate
• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to follow directions and take guidance from senior technicians
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in automotive, electrical, or fabrication work
• Basic 12V electrical knowledge
• Ownership of personal tools
