About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Planner to be based in Coral Gables, FL. This position is expected to begin as soon as possible. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Supports planning studies and reports for new and updated plans, programs and regulations. Reviews or assists in the review of development proposals and transportation plans for conformance with codes, plans and regulations. Prepares and presents detailed reports on development proposals to government bodies. Collects a variety of statistical data and prepares reports and maps on topics, such as census information, land use, transportation tax base data and occupancy rates. Assists in evaluating re-zonings, ordinance amendments, site plans, special use permits, variances and other proposals. Coordinates community review of public and private development projects. Provides information to the public regarding transportation plans. Assists in resolving citizen and customer issues. Under direct supervision, conducts field evaluations and assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies, Civil Engineering, or another related field.
