About The Position

Since 1977 Specialty Hose Corp. has been a premier provider of Metal and Teflon hose assemblies. Our products are used in many applications and industries. We have hoses in decompression chambers at the bottom of the ocean and hoses that control the environmental system on the International Space Station and just about everywhere in between. Our company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D. We produce hoses for the most demanding applications and quality is our culture. Starting pay: $17 / hr.

Requirements

Welding Experience not necessary
12-months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience preferred.
Basic math skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure and calipers.
Basic skills required to accurately read blueprints and work orders.
Capability to lift 50 lbs.
Attention to detail is a must.
Great attendance is mandatory
Must be able to pass a drug screening test
Must be able to pass background check

Responsibilities

Welding Metal Hose Products (TIG)
Assembly of stainless-steel wire braided hose products
Operates all equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment, including compliance with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
Follows specifications or procedures for hose assemblies using blueprints, work instructions and fabrication knowledge.
Pulls inventory from warehouse.
Conducts tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and tolerance.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
Willingness to cross-train and perform work of other job tasks when necessary.
