Workplace Options: This position will be fully on-site. While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS Manassas (VA) facility.

Requirements

• Good understanding of testing and troubleshooting methods for hardware, software, and systems.
• Ability to generate technical engineering products using appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
• Good proficiency in executing test approaches and documenting system verification.
• Good knowledge of functional, environmental, operational, and performance testing.
• Good problem-solving skills to isolate and document issues and defects.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implement cost-effective testing methods.
• Generate technical engineering products using appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
• Execute test approaches and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
• Isolate and document issues and defects.
• Setup and conduct functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
