About The Position
Larson Cadillac is hiring an Entry-Level Technician. This role is not just a basic express/lube position; you will start with maintenance tasks but also work alongside experienced technicians to learn real repairs and build the skills necessary to advance into a full technician position. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to real repair work, allowing you to learn from skilled technicians and follow a clear career path from apprentice to flat-rate technician roles. You will receive Cadillac-specific training to build skills on luxury vehicles and advanced systems within a stable shop environment that provides consistent workflow and a structured setting. Requirements
- Strong interest in becoming an automotive technician
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable and team-oriented
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Strong automotive background
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Basic computer skills
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to understand and apply common sense
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Basic mechanical knowledge or schooling preferred
- ASE certifications are ideal
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance (oil changes, tires, batteries, inspections)
- Complete multi-point inspections and document findings
- Assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs
- Learn how to identify and fix real vehicle issues
- Keep workflow moving and support the shop
